Restaurant in Tyrone robbed

The Main Moon restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue was robbed on Saturday night.
Tyrone Borough Police said they were dispatched at 9:43 p.m. for an armed robbery at the downtown establishment.
Police said the suspect entered the store wearing a green jacket with a hood and dark jean shorts. He reportedly displayed a black pipe, approximately three feet in length. The suspect demanded money and made off with approximately $550.
The suspect was described as a white male, five-feet, six inches tall. The suspect’s weight was listed as 150 to 160 pounds. The man covered most of his face and head during the robbery.
He reportedly headed east on Herald Street and then in an unknown direction from there.
The investigation was described as ongoing.
