WMUMC Octoberfest slated for October 21

The Warriors Mark United Methodist Church will be bustling with activity on Saturday, October 21 as area artisans, crafters and vendors gather to share their products with those in attendance at this year’s Octoberfest.
The day will begin at 8 a.m. with activities continuing until 1 p.m.
Already, a number of vendors have signed up for Octoberfest. They will be selling an assortment of items including crafts, stain glass, jewelry, quilts, sweatshirts, lighted glass gift boxes, hand-painted canvas tote bags, garden bricks, Avon products and various other items.
A variety of homemade baked goods will also be available for purchase, along with homemade soup, including vegetable, ham and bean, chicken corn and chicken noodle.
There will be a lot of other food also, such as hotdogs, sauerkraut, macaroni salad, toss salad/chef salad, chili, crackers, chicken salad sandwiches, fried ice cream, donuts and beverages.
Done shopping? Already tried the food? Stick around for the entertainment provided throughout the day.
The worship and praise Christian rock band Chosen will perform from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Then Key of C, a contemporary Christian worship group, will take the stage from noon to 1 p.m.
A love offering will be received for the music groups.
Everyone is invited to come enjoy the fun. The Warriors Mark UM Church is handicapped accessible.
Also, for interested individuals, there is still time to sign up to participate in Octoberfest. The registration deadline for table space is this Friday. Call the church office at 632-6906 with questions or to register.
