Lady Eagles fly past Harmony

In a first ever meeting of these two schools, the Tyrone Lady Eagles overcame a 19 point performance by MacKenzie Kruise to outlast the Harmony Lady Owls 36-28 in junior high basketball action yesterday.
Tyrone scored the first six points of the game before Kruise nailed the first of her three treys as time ran down in the first quarter.
Tyrone led by four at the break 14-10.
The Lady Eagles upped their lead to eight points but the Owls \”Kruised\” right back to cut the lead to 24-23 after three periods.
Casey Baird led Tyrone with 12 points along with Ashley Ford (eight points) and Mara Hawes’ season high seven points as the Lady Eagles broke the game open in the fourth period.
Tyrone now 3-8 wil play at Lewistown Tuesday at 6:00 pm. The \”B\” team played an exhibition scrimmage with Harmony only having eight players.
