Bellwood-Antis golfers drop two

The Bishop Guilfoyle golf team (5-8) sprinted out to an easy win over Bellwood-Antis and Philipsburg-Osceola (5-8) at Sylvan Hills on Thursday. Due to the rain that hit the area in midafternoon, the match was shortened to nine holes, instead of the usual 18.
Jimmy Watters carded the low score for Bellwood-Antis with a 44, Kyle Shawley was a stroke back with a 45, and Matt Beech and Tom Trexler posted 47s for the Blue Devils, who lost to BG 183-160 and Philipsburg-Osceola 183-179.

Tyler Lucas had a 48, and John Klein had a 66 for Bellwood-Antis, while Derrick Batts had a 59 playing an exhibition as the Blue Devils seventh golfer.
