Kids clinic to be provided at Family Fun Blast

Tyrone Medical Associates, Tyrone Hospital, and ProCare Rehabilitation are teaming up to provide a Kids Clinic at the Family Fun Blast to be held at Tyrone Area High School on Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Children are invited to bring their stuffed animals, dolls or other “special friends” to have a medical check-up.
Complimentary surgical masks and caps will be provided to each child who visits the kids clinic.
The Rotary Club of Tyrone and Blair County Communities That Care are teaming up to collaborate with area agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals to organize the Family Fun Blast in celebration of “National Mental Health Awareness Month”.
This event will help promote healthier relationships between parents, children and community members. Families will enjoy the opportunity to interact in a safe supportive environment, learn to make healthier decisions, and have a fun and rewarding experience.
There will be live entertainment, including Big Mac-N-Fries at 1 p.m. and a visit from Steamer and Diesel Dawg at 1 p.m. There will be free games and crafts for kids, and individuals will be able to register for a variety of prizes. There will also be free educational information and interactive family activities for building healthy relationships.
