Kindergarten and first grade pre-registration to begin at Myers Elementary School

Myers Elementary School in Bellwood will begin pre-registration for kindergarten and first grade students for the 2006-07 school term.
The district is trying to locate all children who will be eligible to attend kindergarten or first grade next fall.
Pre-registration helps project the enrollment for next year and it’s simple to do.
Parents of eligible students are asked to call the elementary office at 742-2272. During the call, parents will be asked for information and their child will then be included in the annual mailing for the registration program.
Those who should call include parents of children who are eligible for kindergarten and those students eligible for first grade, who did not attend kindergarten in the Bellwood-Antis School District.
Children who will be five-years-old before September 1, 2006 are eligible for admission to kindergarten. Children who will be six-years-old before September 1, 2006 are eligible for first grade.
This is pre-registration and parents are asked to contact the school at their convenience.
The dates for kindergarten and first grade registration for the 2006-07 school year will be announced at a later date. By calling now, parents will ensure that all information regarding the upcoming registration will be received.
