Preparations for Ghosts and Goblins Tour begin at Lincoln Caverns

Start making plans today because Lincoln Caverns is gearing up for its annual haunted tours starting October 7.
With over 20 years of haunted tour experience and expertise, the staff at Lincoln Caverns, near Huntingdon, has been busy with preparations for its 22nd annual Ghosts and Goblins Tours.
The unique tours provide surprises, scares, laughs and even some cave education to thousands of visitors each year. The tours offer a wide range of variety to fit any group or family’s needs.
Ghosts and Goblins 2005 features all new Halloween themes. Costumed guides explain the wonders and highlights of a haunted Lincoln Caverns while supporting characters provide humor and horror along the way.
This year, during daytime tours, an experienced staff member will guide visitors through Whisper Rocks, sharing the natural beauty of the cavern with the guests. For individuals who are looking for a totally haunted experience, on Friday and Saturday evenings, the Whisper Rocks leg of the tour can be replaced by a trip along the haunted trail running through the woods atop Warrior Ridge.
The staff at Lincoln Cavern provides opportunities for all individuals to enjoy a spooky time, regardless of age. During the day, staff members take special care to make sure the ‘fright level’ is appropriate for the tour’s participants. This special attention to guests makes the Ghosts and Goblins Tour an appropriate Halloween experience for everyone including organized groups such as Brownies and Cub Scouts to high school youth groups and senior citizens.
Ghosts and Goblins 2005 is open to the public Fridays and Saturday, October 7-29. From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturdays, visitors can enjoy a very special one hour family tour through two beautiful crystal caverns, one haunted and one natural.
On Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 10 p.m., Lincoln Caverns offers an all-haunted, scary adventure featuring the haunted caverns and the increasingly horrifying haunted trail.
Both daytime and evening tours provide visitors with two unique experiences for the price of one. Advance tickets for the annual fun-filled Halloween adventure are on sale now. Regular guided tours of the decorated and natural caverns are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
Package tour options are available for organized groups. They include extra features such as panning for real gems and a Kids Cave Crawl. A brand new Halloween Party Pak also premiers this year which includes all group activities plus a special costume party with a Halloween craft, pizza lunch, prizes and treats.
Visitors of all ages will enjoy the fall colors while walking Lincoln Caverns’ nature trails, browsing in Raystown Country’s largest souvenir and gift shop and panning for real gems in the sluice. Pavilion facilities and party rooms for group outings and primitive on-site camping at Warrior Ridge Campground are also options individuals or groups may choose to take advantage of.

Advantages for customers purchasing tickets prior to the date of their tour will notice a savings, as well as avoid wait time upon arrival on the day of their visit.
