The Herald to spotlight area churches

For the upcoming holiday season, The Daily Herald would like to spotlight area churches.
The staff at The Herald recently sent out questionnaires by mail to all area churches. The staff is using the church page which runs every Friday in The Herald for church contact information. If an area church is not contacted by The Herald, feel free to stop by the office to pick up a form so that every church in the area may be highlighted this holiday season.
Church members are asked to answer the questionnaire that was mailed out this week and to send back the completed information to The Herald office by November 19.
The information will begin running in the newspaper in December.
Churches may respond by mail, fax or email, or individuals may drop information off to the office at 1067 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone.
The mailing address is P.O. Box 246, Tyrone, PA 16686. The fax number is 684-4238, and the email address is dherald@verizon.net. If anyone should have questions, feel free to call the office at 684-4000.
Information in the spotlight includes: church name, name of pastor, other church positions, location, phone number, church service times, email, web site and history of the church. Also, upcoming/special events, Christmas events, youth programs, adult activities and more.
The Herald reserves the right to edit information for content.
Churches are asked to also send any photos of the church building or photos of recent events to include with the spotlight information. Photos muse be sent to the office on photo paper or may be sent by email in jpeg format to dherald@verizon.net. Photos may also be dropped off at the office during normal business hours.
