One of the nation’s largest building materials retailers, 84 Lumber Company has hired Jesse Barley as a Manager Trainee at the company’s store in Huntingdon.
Barley, a native of Tyrone, Pa, graduated from Tyrone High School in 2000. He is the son of Jesse and Cristi Barley of Tyrone. Barley currently resides in Tyrone, Pa.
As a Manager Trainee, Barley is responsible for sales, estimating and material takeoffs, performing in-store merchandising and maintaining store and yard appearance.
The company was founded by Joe Hardy in 1956 in the town of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, where the original store continues to operate. Today, the company operates over 450 stores in 34 states and employs more than 6,500 associates nationwide.
