Raffle item for benefit located at Herald office

The members of Tyrone Area Community Organization have joined together to hold a benefit dance for 10-month-old Zachary Amato, who was diagnosed with cancer at birth.
A raffle and 50/50 drawing will also be featured at the dance. One of the main raffle items includes a Thomas Kinkade print painting, which can now be seen on display at The Daily Herald office window. Another raffle item not displayed is Spiderman toy sets. Winners need not be present at the dance to win raffle items.
The benefit dance for Zachary is scheduled for July 31 at the Tyrone American Legion from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are a donation of $5 each.
Tickets are being sold by any TACO member before the night of the event, and tickets will also be available at the door.
Members of TACO would like to thank Tyrone Burger King, Jeanne Price and all others for their help and donations. The proceeds of the event will benefit the family of Zachary. He is the son of Alison and Mike Amato of Tyrone, RD 2.
TACO is also sponsoring a benefit night at Burger King on August 19, from 4 p.m. to close, where 20 percent of the proceeds taken at the counter will benefit Zachary.
TACO is going to place cans with Zachary’s picture on them at local businesses for those in the community who are interested in donating money as well.
