Area magician to perform at City Hotel Park Wednesday

This Wednesday, the young and young at heart has a chance to witness the magical skills of Tyrone’s premiere magician, Dennie Huber, scheduled for noon at City Hotel Park.
Huber’s blend of music and magic makes for a special event in the Afternoon Delights concert series.
An Altoona native, Huber has been entertaining since the age of twelve. He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Musicians and has received numerous awards for his work with local charities.
Although he likes to bill himself as “larger than life” due to his imposing size, Huber has one of the sweetest voices any audience will hear. His carefully constructed mix of magic and music makes for a wonderful experience for audiences of all ages.
In addition, those attending Wednesday\’s concert will receive a discount coupon from this week\’s business host, Patrice\’s Boutique. One of the newest additions to downtown, Patrice\’s Boutique, operated by Patrice DelBaggio, offers a unique line of women\’s clothing.
The Afternoon Delights series is made possible by a grant from the PA Council on the Arts, a state agency, the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, Tyrone Borough, and the Tyrone School District Employee Charity Fund.
Upcoming concerts include June 23, the Bluegrass sound of the Conrad Brothers, followed by the Servello Family on June 30.
