TACM schedules TAHS baccalaureate program for Sunday at First Assembly of God

The monthly meeting of the Tyrone Area Cooperative Ministries was held Tuesday, May 18 at the Bald Eagle Methodist Church.
Plans were finalized for this Sunday’s Tyrone Area High School baccalaureate program to be held at the First Assembly of God Church on Bald Eagle Avenue.
The service is scheduled at 7 p.m. and has been planned by a group of high school students chaired by Pastor T.M. Moses of the First English Lutheran Church and Drew Baker of Faces and Places Ministries. The public is encouraged to attend to honor these graduates.
Exciting plans were made for the first annual TACM community picnic to be held at Reservoir Park on August 8. Table No. 1 has been reserved for the day. TACM will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and rolls.
Flyers will be sent to each church with complete details. Each church will be asked to help in some way. Some will be asked to help with children’s games, while some will be asked to be grill chefs. There will be lots for everyone to do.
A wonderful evening concert program will be presented by Karen Knight from Sights and Sounds.
Watch The Daily Herald and church bulletins for more details.
Special committee meetings to plan details for the picnic will be held in June and July.
TACM officers will also meet over the summer to plan the goals and visions for the coming year. Pastor T.M. Moses is the newly-elected president and Drew Baker is vice president for the coming year.
TACM monthly meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m.
Trinity Episcopal will hold the first meeting of the fall season on September 27.
