B-A junior high wins two

The Bellwood-Antis junior high boys basketball team remained undefeated with two wins last week, ripping Claysburg-Kimmel 55-21 at Bellwood on Tuesday and edging Glendale 36-33 at Flinton, on Friday to stretch their perfect record to 10-0.
Against Claysburg, Paul Christner led the offense with 12 points and Cory DeArmitt added 10 for B-A. Tyler Elvey and Devon Clapper each chipped in eight points.
Burkett led Claysburg-Kimmel with 12 points.
On Friday, Evan Hughes tossed in 13 points to lead the Little Blue Devils, Tyler Elvey added nine points and Blaze Winterstein scored eight points.
Sam Yingling scored 13 points for Glendale to share game honors with Hughes.
The B-A junior high travels to Juniata Valley today for a 4 p.m. contest.
