Hollidaysburg state police
Police were called to state Route 764, in front of Splinters’ in Antis Township, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to investigate an accident.
Police said Liam Payne of Altoona was northbound and as he slowed his car to turn right, was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Brian Carter of Altoona.
A passenger in each vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Daniel Sharer of Snyder Township reported to police that sometime between 6 a.m. Nov. 18 and 10 p.m. Nov. 21, someone forced their way into his unoccupied residence and ransacked it.
Stolen were a Glock pistol, a Remington shotgun and a DeWalt mitre box.
Police are continuing to investigate.
Huntingdon state police
Darren Lynn Hoover of Warriors Mar reported to police that someone cut a total of six tires on two separate vehicles while they were parked along Grange Road, east of SR 550 in Warriors Mark township.
Police said the incident occurred between 2-9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Philipsburg state police
Police report a 38-year-old Tyrone man was arrested for driving under the influence following a routine traffic stop along state Route 550, approximately 3/4 of a mile north of Sandy Ridge in Centre County.
Police said charges were filed before District Justice Allen Sinclair in Philipsburg.

Hollidaysburg state police
Charles Robert Ball of Tyrone reported to police that his 1995 Dodge Dakota truck, bearing Pennsylvania registration No. YGL3655 was stolen from a location along Snyder Drive in Snyder Township between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said the truck has decals on the windows, a tonto cover on the bed and aluminum rims.

Hollidaysburg state police
Police were called to state Route 4019 in Antis Township at 3:20 p.m. yesterday to investigate an accident.
Police said Melissa M. Collins of Altoona was northbound when he lost control of his Chevy Blazer on the wet roadway. The vehicle sideswiped a southbound vehicle operated by John T. Buechele of Altoona.
No injuries were reported.

William C. Leonard of Altoona complained of chest pain following an accident that occurred at 3:50 p.m. yesterday along state Route 4018 in Antis Township.
Police said wet roadways were again to be blamed as Leonard lost control of his vehicle and struck the guiderails.
He was transported to Altoona Hospital.

Police report the arrest of 46-year-old John William Baird of Tyrone.
Police said Baird was stopped for summary traffic violations along SR 764 in front of Bellemeade Motors in Antis Township at 12:38 a.m. Nov. 7. He was given field sobriety tests, which police said he failed.

Police report Joseph Zambiella of Tyrone was uninjured after his vehicle struck a deer while traveling northbound on SR 1001 in Antis Township at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police report someone gained entrance into a business along the Bald Eagle Pike in Snyder Township on Friday and removed $300 in cash.

Police received a report from a Snyder Township resident concerning criminal mischief/criminal trespassing.
Police were told that a person known to the caller entered her residence without permission and an altercation ensued with this person and another. While leaving the scene, the unwanted person rammed an unattended vehicle with his vehicle then fled the scene.

Stephen Allen Weyer, a resident of RD 3 Tyrone, on Decker Road, told police that someone broke into his shed on Nov. 11 and removed two all-terrain vehicles. Police value the vehicles at $5,000.

Hollidaysburg state police
Police report a Tyrone man suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident that occurred at 4:36 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of state Route 865 and Eighth Street.
Police said Joseph Honsey of RD Tyrone fell asleep while driving his vehicle. As a result, his car left SR 865, traveled through a yard and struck a tree and a fence before crashing into the side of a house.

Police were called to the intersection of state routes 4019 and 865 in Antis Township at 10:55 p.m. yesterday to investigate an accident.
Police said Zachary D. Keagy of Altoona was northbound and failed to get his vehicle stopped at the intersection. His vehicle traveled acros SR 865 and struck a utility pole and two road signs before coming to rest along the east side of SR 865.
Keagey was wearing his safety belt and suffered no injuries. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.

Hollidaysburg state police
Police report the arrest of 23-year-old Neil Howard Myers of Tipton.
Police said at 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 18, Myers was stopped for a traffic violation along Seventh Avenue in Altoona. Police said he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and drug paraphernalia was recovered from his vehicle.
After failing field sobriety tests, he was placed in custody.

Stephen Allen Weyer of RD 3 Tipton said someone entered a shed on his property along Decker Hollow Road in Antis Township sometime between midnight and 3:45 p.m. on Nov. 11. Police said two all-terrain vehicles, valued at $3,00 each, were stolen.

A Snyder Township resident reported to police that a person known to him harassed him over the phone of Nov. 11.

Police report Michelle Smith, who lives along state Route 4021 in Tipton, had the windows smashed out of her screen door sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. yesterday.
Huntingdon state police
Police were called to state Route 453 nea Grier School in Warriors Mark Township at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 7 to investigate an accident.
Police said Mildred Cramer of Mill Creek lost control of her vehicle while northbound on SR 453. The vehicle turned onto its roof.
No injuries were reported and police said Cramer was wearing her safety belt.

Police were called to state Route 99 southbound, near the Pinecroft exit, at 7:10 p.m. on Monday to investigate an accident.
Police said Pamela D. Detwiler of Tyrone was struck a deer on the roadway. No injuries were reported.

Allen Dixon Jr. of Tyrone reported to police that someone smashed his mailbox at his residence along state Route 4025 in Antis Township Monday. Police value the mailbox at $15.

Police report a 23-year-old RR1 Altoona woman was assaulted by her 24-year-old brother at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 along Bear Hollow Lane in Antis Township. The woman suffered neck injuries as a result of the incident.
Charges are pending.

Police report 44-year-old Michael James Daugherty of RD 3 Tyrone was charged with a number of violations following an accident that occurred along state Route 4027, at the Tyrone Mini Storage, in Snyder Township on Oct. 5 at 3:40 p.m.
Police said the charges include driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving at safe speeds, careless driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic and failure to use restraint systems.

Police were called to state Route 99 north of the Bellwood Exit in Antis Township on Oct. 30 to investigate an accident.
Police said Richard Weston of Tyrone was northbound when his vehicle struck a bear on the roadway. No injuries were reported.

Police report David Allen Miller Jr. of RR 2 Tyrone was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct on Oct. 30 as a result of a domestic dispute. He was arraigned on the charges and committed to Blair County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
On Oct. 31, Miller was arraigned on a warrant issued by District Magistrate Fred Miller on a charge of intimidating a witness. Miller allegedly threatened a witness of an incident unrelated to the aforementioned. The witness was allegedly threatened with assault by Miller if they testified against him.
Bail was set for this charge in the amount of $50,000.

Police received a report from Jacqueline Michelle Ramsey of Tyrone that someone stole a 1988 Ford Escort from her property at Teaberry Street in Snyder Township.

Police report a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 11:10 p.m. on Saturday along SR 764 in Antis Township.
Police said the pedestrian was walking along the east berm and the vehicle was northbound. As the vehicle passed the pedestrian, the pedestrian fell into the vehicle’s right side. Upon impact, the pedestrian was knocked to the ground.
Police said the vehicle didn’t stop after the accident.
After the accident, police said some friends found him and took him to his residence. They then called for an ambulance and the man was taken to Altoona Hospital for treatment.
Huntingdon state police
Police were called to Dry Hollow Road in Franklin Township, Huntingdon County at 3 p.m. Saturday to investigate an accident.
Police said a westbound vehicle operated by Roger D. Kelly of Port Matilda traveled into the eastbound lane and crashed into a vehicle operated by Randall Burnell of Warriors Mark. Police said a passenger in the Burnell vehicle was pregnant and for precautionary measures, was transported to Centre Community Hospital.
Police were assisted at the scene by a medic from WMVFD and AMED ambulance out of Tyrone.
