Huntingdon downs Lady Eagles tennis team

The Tyrone tennis team hosted Huntingdon on Tuesday.
The Lady Eagles won two singles matches in a 5-2 loss to the Lady Bearcats.
Beth Nelson and Becky Swann both won at number four and five singles respectively. Nelson won 9-7 and Swann won 8-1 as each won for the second time this season. The Tyrone tennis team has a total of four singles wins this year and Swann abd nelson with two each, have all four.
“We were a tired tennis team tonight and it showedf,” said Tyrone coach Charles Fitzgerald. “My congratulations to Beth Nelson and Becky Swann for excellent matches.”
“Huntingdon has become a better team over the season and this was a different team we faced today.”
Lada Benakovic won an exhibition match for the Lady Eagles.
