Tyrone girls beaten by P-O

The Tyrone girls volleyball team traveled to Philipsburg to tackle the Philipsburg-Osceola Lady Mounties on Thursday.
The Lady Eagles fell to Philipsburg-Osceola in three straight games, 25-22, 25-14 and 25-17.
Tyrone, which falls to 3-5, was led by seven service points and 13 digs from Stephanie Catich. Lea Otto had two kills.
“We played close with a good Philipsburg team,” said Tyrone coach Dave Eckberg. “The girls really hustled on defense. It was our best match in terms of passing and serving and that’s what kept us in it. We just need to keep working to add some offense to our game.”
