Nichols competing in national Angus contest this weekend

John D. Nichols of Tyrone, will be competing this weekend in the 2003 National Junior Angus Showmanship Contest in Louisville, Ky.
Nichols, a junior member of the American Angus Association, headquarted in St. Joseph, Mo., is one of 62 young Angus breeders from 34 states who have earned the right to represent their state in this national event,” said John Crouch, executive vice president of the American Angus Association.
The contestants will be competing for the coveted title of “Top Showman.”
The 37th National Junior Angus Sportsmanship Contest is sponsored by the American Angus Association, and is held in conjunction with the National Junior Angus Show, the largest single-breed beef cattle show in the world.
