Haynes preliminary hearing continued

Yesterday at the request of the Commonwealth, the preliminary hearing for Zacchaeus Haynes was continued until next Tuesday at 1 p.m. before District Justice Fred Miller.
Haynes is charged with eight counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance, six counts of possession of a controlled substance, six counts of criminal use of a communication facility and one count of criminal conspiracy.
Following the arrest, Detective James Myers of the Blair County District Attorney’s office, complimented the joint work of the local police departments.
“The Tyrone Borough Police, Altoona Police, State Police and District Attorney’s office have been investigating this case for four months now,” said Myers. “We’re happy to say that we stopped at least some of the narcotics being distributed in Blair County.”
He is lodged in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $370,000 straight bail.
In other items at District Justice Miller’s office:
