Men’s 25 & Over League

Joshua House opened the Men’s 25 and Over League at the YMCA with a 113-31 pasting of Independents. Mark Kosoglow pumped in 31 points to lead the winners, while John Miller and Mike Savino each scored 10 points for Independents (0-1).
In the only other game played, Hampton Inn behind 23 points from Mark Sievers opened with a 67-55 win over P.S. Printing. Rich Shoop fronted P.S. Printing with 20 points.
Reliance Savings (1-0) picked up a win the easy way when Team # 3 forfeited.

Third/Fourth Grade Youth Basketball League

Tyrone Elks (4-0) kept their unbeaten streak intact with a 26-8 triumph over DeGol’s (1-3). Korry Cowher led Elks with 11 points, Denver Burket added five points, Charlie Burket and Jordan Coral each had four and Nick Patton scored two points. James Russel led DeGol’s with five points and Trevor Jackson chipped in two points and Andrew DeGol had one point.
Walks Trades (4-0) kept pace with Elks by defeating DelGrosso’s (0-4) 36-4 behind a balanced attack. Richard Crabtree scored 10 points, Derrick Emigh and Richard Stever had eight each, Brooke Pearson scored four and Ashley Ford, Jesse Shaffer and Olivia Stever had two points apiece. Bryant McCracken and Sean Turchetta each had two points for DelGrosso’s.
Frito Lay downed Michael’s Photography to even both teams’ records at 2-2. Casey Baird and Jordan Faretta fronted the attack for Frito Lay and Brandon Osborne and Brandon Romano had two points each. Raymond Nevling led Michaels with five points, Derek Denny had four and Cody Dickson had one point.
O’s Sew Shop (2-2) soundly defeated Tyrone Colonial Courtyard 38-1 in the final game to be reported. Kyler Johnson, Ian Murphy and Brent Stewart all scored 10 points to lead the winners. Tyler Glasshouse, Maggie meek and Christian Solecki had two points each. Kayla Swope scored Colonial Courtyard’s (1-3) point.

The Co-Ed basketball League continued it’s second week of games with DeGol’s trouncing Tyrone Colonial Courtyard 18-2 in the first game reported.
James Russell led DeGol’s (1-1) with 10 points and Kevin Rodkey added six points for the winners. Ryan Isenberg had Colonial Courtyard’s points.
In a low-scoring contest, Michaels Photography (1-1) defeated DelGrosso 7-2 with all the scoring done by one person on each team. Derek Denny had seven points for the winners and Thad O’Shea had two for DelGrosso’s (0-2).
Walks Trades (2-0) shelled Frito Lay 22-6 in the highest scoring encounter. Walks Trades featured a well balanced attack with Richard Crabtree, Derrick Emigh and Brooke Pierson each scoring six points and Richard Stever scoring four. Jordan Faretta led Frito Lay (0-2) with four points and Brandon Roman contributed two.
Tyrone Elks also used a balanced offense to down O’s Sew Shop 13-8. Denver Burket fronted the attack for Elks (2-0), with six points, while Korrie Cowher added three and Charlie Burket and Nick Patton had two each. For O’s Sew Shop (1-1), Brent Stewart had five points, Cody Christine had two and Ian Murray chipped in the final point.
