Tyrone girls tennis team completes season

Tyrone traveled to State College to complete their Central Pennsylvania tennis league season on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Eagles dropped a 7-0 decision to the Lady Little Lions. State Colege improves to 7-5, while Tyrone ends the season 1-11.
“I have had a wonderful season with this team,” said Tyrone coach Charles Fitzgerald. “We are going to be fine next year with all the experience we gained this year. We will have all of our starters back for another season.”
Tyrone defeated Grier School 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon at Birmingham for their only win of the 2002 campaign.
